Efter många års utvecklingsarbete startade företaget AquaVilla Produktion AB år 2000 den första storskaliga produktionen av villor för permanent boende på ”riktiga” sjötomter. Åtta villor producerades med stadigvarande förankring i Pampas Marina i Solna. Resten är en framgångsrik historia och nya, marina samhällen på vattnet växer nu fram på allt fler ställen runtom i Sverige. År 2019 bytte företaget namn till Aqua Floating Group AB.

Aquavilla has been producing floating houses since 2000 with the goal of developing floating communities and utilizing properties on water instead of reclaiming land, thereby creating environmentally friendly and sustainable housing solutions. Many years of planning and development with knowledgeable experts are behind the villas AquaVilla builds today. Which means that the fourth generation of villas that AquaVilla produces is now a world leader in living on water.
The close-knit team behind our floating villas has a combined experience from 4 generations of Aquavillas. And we are constantly developing our business to build comfortable and safe living environments on the water for Nordic climate conditions and for future climate changes. It couldn't be safer.

The business idea behind the success of AquaVilla has, since its inception in 2000, been "to manufacture and sell high-quality, environmentally friendly floating houses, as well as to develop marine communities and contribute to creating and completing building rights on the water."
Egen produktionsanläggning
Ett strategiskt läge vid Östersjön, var viktigt när vi valde etablering för vår produktionsanläggning. I Västervik finns en lång tradition av såväl båt- som husproduktion samt närhet till duktiga hantverkare och leverantörer. Produktions anläggningen ligger på ön Lucerna, en dryg kilometer från Västerviks centrum. Läget erbjuder bra väg- och tåg förbindelser utan restriktioner. Fastigheten består till 100 procent av berg, 5 hektar land och 3 hektar vatten. Strandremsan är 700 m och djupet i hamnbassängen är 3-7 m.

AquaVilla was looking for a suitable plot of land from the start where it was possible to establish an efficient and environmentally friendly production facility. We found the perfect property on the island of Lucerna in Västervik where it was possible to build a dry dock. The property included a building where Sweden's first gas turbine generator was built in the mid-1950s, we call that building the A-hall.
The A-hall is just over 5,000 m² on 3 floors. Floor 0 is where we produce the Casabona profiles in two roll forming machines. Floor 1 has two traverses, each with a lifting capacity of 35 tons, where pontoons and prefab concrete products are manufactured, which can be transported by road. Floor 2 is offices and staff areas.
Hall B, which has not yet been built.
The hall will be an extension of Hall A, approximately 1,350 m², and will serve as a warehouse, etc.
The C-hall is Sweden's largest production facility for floating buildings, at 3,000 m². It is 100 meters long, 30 meters wide and has a height of 23 m. In the C-hall we can build 10 houses in parallel, 4 on the land slope and 6 in the harbor basin which is 60 x 18 meters. The C-hall has two traverses with two trolleys/hooks on each traverse that together can lift 40 tons.
Hall D is planned to become our dry dock when it is completed. The hall will have the same dimensions as Hall C. When the hall is completed, all casting of floating concrete structures with a length of up to 60 meters and a width of 18 meters will take place in Hall D.
VI BYGGER INOMHUS FÖR BÄSTA KVALITET - färdigbyggt och besiktigade
AquaVilla kan producera hela hus med en boyta på över 200 kvm, med vikter upp emot 40 ton. Det färdiga huset lyfts, med hjälp av traverser, ombord på en AquaComBi eller en AquaComBo, flytgrund. När huset är fastsatt på flytgrunden drift sätter man huset d.v.s. man startar upp och kör i gång värmepumpen och golvvärme systemet. Hantverkarna kan därmed färdigställa huset på ett hållbart och byggnadtekniskt säkert sätt. Arbetet sker inomhus i en hamnbassäng där husen byggs färdiga för leverans.
Vi kan producera 10 hus parallellt, 4 st inne i hallen (på fabriksgolvet) och 6 st flytande i hamnbassängen. Efter det att husen är färdigbyggda och har klarat en godkänd besiktning är det dags för transport. Genom detta tillvägagångssätt kan vi leverera ”nyckelfärdiga hus” direkt från fabrik till den slutliga uppankringsplatsen.
Transporter och logistik med miljöhänsyn
Alla hustransporter sker med ”Berta” - vår Submersible pråm, dvs en ”mobil flytdocka” med en lyft-, och lastkapacitet på 1500 ton. Den kan lasta exempelvis upp till 4-5 AquaVillor beroende på vikt och storlek. Alternativt en flytande byggnad som är 50 x 17 m. Berta är byggd enligt DNV – Det Norske Veritas-reglementet. Eftersom AquaVilla tillverkar alla flytgrunder tillsammans med Casabona-profiler till husstommarna, samt allt stål till trappor, räcken etc. i egen regi så minimeras tunga trans porter på vägnätet. Dessutom sker alla transporter av alla flytande byggnader till sjöss, ett transportsätt som ger stora miljövinster.
