AquaVillas floating foundation is built in two versions – AquaComBi and AquaComBo.
AquaComBi (Bi = Bi-space) floating foundation AquaComBi has a secondary space on level 0 (the foundation) of 104 m² that can be used as storage, workshop, etc. as well as technical space together with built-in trim tanks for fine adjustment of the house's floating position. The ceiling height is 2.4 meters inside.
AquaComBo (Bo = Living space) is built in the same way as AquaComBi above, but there floor 0 is instead a living space together with built-in trim tanks for fine adjustment of the house's buoyancy. Floor 0 has a living area of 78 m², including trim tanks and technical space. The ceiling height is 2.4 meters inside.

The AquaComBi and -Bo floating foundations have a dead weight of 180-250 tons depending on design and size, with most of the weight coming from the bottom plate, which contributes to the best possible stability by having the weight located deepest, just like the keel of a sailboat.
Both designs are equipped with double hulls consisting of EPS cells, or trim tanks at the outer edge of the floating foundation, which in turn protect the foundation.
With the help of ballast water, the floating foundation can be trimmed so that it floats horizontally, after it has been decorated and furnished.
When one of our basic structures was inspected by the Cement and Concrete Institute almost 15 years ago, we received the assessment “this structure will not last 100 years, but it will last several hundred years.” It is difficult to get a better opinion.
