To build a functioning marine community, comfort and accessibility comparable to a residential area on the land slope are required. To achieve this, we have developed the Aquapiren and the AquaDockingBuffert. The structures are the result of seven years of development work.
AQUAPIERS
The Aquapiers have a width of 7-18 meters to provide stability and load-bearing capacity. This means, among other things, that emergency vehicles can drive onto the pier. The piers are equipped with a storage space on the deck where you can store, for example, bicycles. Via a staircase, you reach an unfurnished storage space inside the pier with a free height of 2.75 m. With an AquaVilla mounted at a 45 degree angle, the space in the pier is approximately 94 square meters and at a 90 degree angle, the corresponding area is approximately 45 square meters. The space can be used as a storage room, guest accomodation, SPA with sauna, studio, gym, etc.
AQUADOCKINGBUFFERT
AquaDockingBuffert is a patented coupling system, which can be most easily compared to a hinge between pier to pier and pier to villa. The coupling system means that the AquaVilla docked with the Aquapiren will be almost completely immobile, i.e. it will not roll or rock even with wind speeds above 32 m/s (assuming a location within an area where the wave height does not exceed approximately 60 cm). The attachments in the AquaVillas’ caissons/pontoons and the Aquapiren have an estimated lifespan of at least 100 years. The coupling is silent and replaceable in a simple way. A marine revolution, quite simply.
