Floating jettys for exposed locations
Floating jettys are specially designed and dimensioned to protect ports in exposed locations. They have deep fenders for the best possible damping and inertia. Our floating jettys are double-reinforced with a thick concrete cover and are filled with a core of cellular plastic (expanded polystyrene EPS). This creates an extra strong pontoon that is unsinkable and has a very long lifespan.
The width determines the wave-absorbing effect
It is the width of a floating jetty that determines the wave-absorbing effect, the wider the pontoon the better the wave-absorbing effect. This is calculated for the specific local conditions based on, for example, wave height and wave period.
Smooth anchoring and service
Like our concrete pontoons, our jettys have anchoring wells, which are easily accessible from the deck. This makes anchoring, maintenance and service really easy.
Floating jettys are anchored with heavy chain and concrete anchors. The chains on a jetty should not be crossed under the pontoon, as this reduces the absorbation effect and increases the rolling of the pontoon. In sheltered locations, chains can be advantageously anchored crosswise, which reduces the risk of being sailed over.
Connect electricity, water, etc.
All our jettys can be prepared for electricity and water supply. The connection of concrete pontoons is done with strong wire and rubber couplings. Our floating jettys are delivered from the factory with a dry brushed surface.
Our breakwaters can be equipped with accessories such as electricity, water, wooden decks, lighting pedestals and bollards

Concrete pontoons and jetties
Concrete pontoons and concrete jetties are used as mooring jetties in marinas and marinas. Concrete pontoons have great stability and high load-bearing capacity with a constant freeboard height and are designed for more exposed locations. The construction consists of reinforced concrete with a core of cellular plastic, which makes it unsinkable and gives it a long service life.

Pontoons and piers in concrete and wood
A wood-concrete ponton or pier is a cost-effective construction for the sheltered location that is less exposed to wind and wave forces.
