A wood-concrete pontoon or pier is a cost-effective construction for the sheltered location that is less exposed to wind and wave forces.
A concrete pontoon or pier consists of strong floating concrete blocks, which are filled with a core of cellular plastic. On top of the floating blocks, we build a strong, continuous wooden deck of pressure-impregnated wood. The construction has a high load-bearing capacity and the bridge is reliable and unsinkable. The bridge is manufactured in desired lengths without joints and can later be extended without a visible joint.
All metal parts are hot-dip galvanized and the supporting structure is built with strong impregnated joists of the highest quality and durability. All our wood-concrete bridges can be prepared for electricity and water supply.
